A report theme sets the colours in your PDF reports: the cover page, titles and links, table headers and rows, callout boxes, and chart lines. Your report template controls the wording and structure of a report. The theme controls its colours. Themes belong to your organization and are managed by organization administrators.

Choose your organization’s theme

  1. Open Organization from the sidebar
  2. On the Details tab, choose a Report Theme
Reserve Sense uses the selected theme for every report your organization builds, with every template variant, including existing reports the next time they are built.

Create or edit a theme

  1. Open Organization from the sidebar and go to the Themes tab
  2. Choose Create new theme and give it a name, or pick an existing theme under Select a theme to edit
  3. Change the colours. Each change is saved automatically
A new theme starts with the Reserve Sense default colours.
Changes to the theme selected on the Details tab appear in every report built afterwards. To try new colours without affecting your reports, create a new theme, then select it on the Details tab when you are ready to use it.

What each colour controls

Charts and tables that you insert with the editor tools use the same colours as the rest of the report.

Delete a theme

Select the theme on the Themes tab and choose Delete Theme. Your organization always keeps at least one theme, so the option only appears when there is more than one. Select a different Report Theme on the Details tab before deleting the theme your reports use. Return to Report Templates overview →
